Sattar&Co. has advised a leading renewable energy firm on the energy laws of Bangladesh, where the company had entered into a construction contract with a power generation company in a solar photovoltaic power project. The construction contract included the designing, engineering, construction and installation of the physical infrastructure of solar energy power projects. Our advice was mainly in relation to the liability to pay the delay liquidated damages on the part of the construction contractor.
